CPD Points
Continuing professional development points will be advised on the
website in August once all sessions have been assessed. Some sessions
may be assessed onsite however. CPD point accreditation will be awarded
to delegates by email four
weeks from the
close of the Conference.
Disability
assistance
GCCEC has wheelchair access to all areas of the building and main
access entrances, including lift access from the car park. There are
ample disability parking bays in the car park, and specially-designed
bathrooms on all levels.
Dress
code
Dress code during the conference is business casual. The Thursday
evening Gala Event dress is cocktail or after five.
First
aid
A first aid room is available onsite, located on the ground floor of
GCCEC, authorised first aid trained staff are available during all
hours of operation.
Luggage
storage onsite
All the major hotels offer luggage services. If it is necessary to
store your luggage at the convention centre on your day of departure
there will be a facility available, open until 5:30pm, please visit the
Customer Service Desk for more information.

Name
badges
Name badge and tickets will be available for pick up from the
Registration Desk on arrival. It is not possible to receive your
tickets or name badge prior to the conference.
Parking
The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre offers 1400 undercover
car spaces for short-term parking.
Entrance to the car park is at the northern end of the building,
accessible from traffic lights off the Gold Coast Highway and the main
driveway off TE Peters Drive.
A $7 inclusive
of GST flat rate is charged for
car parking at the centre.

Session
nomination
This year, the conference program will feature a number of intensive
Master Class sessions within the program streams. Attendance to these
sessions is included in your conference registration. Due to room size
limitations, attendance at these sessions is limited. If you wish to
attend these sessions, you need to pre-register your attendance on your
registration.
You do not need to pre-register for all other conference sessions;
attendance is on a first in basis.
Travel
and health insurance
The FPA registration fees do not include personal travel or health
insurance of any kind. Insurance is the individual’s
responsibility to manage.
The Financial Planning Association of Australia Limited does not take
any responsibility for any delegate failing to purchase comprehensive
insurance cover.
