How to enter
Entries into the CFP Professional Ambassador are now closed. Thank you to those who have submitted an application. We are in the process of review the applications and the second ambassador will be announced later in the year.
CFP practitioners can enter the program by following these steps:
- Step 1
- Complete the online form - see 'enter now' image below.
The form will ask you to outline what being a CFP professional means to you, and explain some of the ways that you promote yourself as a CFP professional, for example, you might refer to:
- Your advertising, stationery, email signatures, brochures etc that feature the CFP Mark logo and promote your status as a CFP professional.
- Evidence that you are active in the community and promoting your CFP certification status by making the most of media opportunities and engaging with key influences such as Government and Regulators.
- Any use of the CFP Professional Marketing Toolkit such as the CFP professional poster or consumer booklets.
- Any other creative ways that you are promoting yourself as a CFP professional.
- Step 2
- If you are shortlisted, you may be required to take part in an interview with members of the judging committee. You may also be asked to provide a reference or send in samples to support your entry. e.g. copies of your advertising or stationery, any newspaper articles that you are featured in etc.
Recommend a candidate
There is also an opportunity for anyone to nominate a CFP practitioner member that they recommend as a candidate for the program. This can be done by simply completing the online form. The FPA will then contact the nominated member and recommend that they enter the program. This peer nomination process will help to encourage outstanding CFP practitioner members to enter the program.

Entry in the CFP Professional Ambassador Program is open to current CFP practitioner members in good standing.
