FPA Board Committees

The FPA Board sets the strategy and priorities of the Association, delegating responsibility for policy developments within agreed strategic priorities from a number of Board committees. Each Board committee is chaired by a Board Director with a membership made up largely of members.

Joining an FPA Committee

Members are encouraged to apply to join one of the FPA Committees shown below, other than the Audit & Risk Committee, Remuneration & Succession Committee and the Investment Committee, which are for FPA Board members only.  Each of the remaining committees comprises a broad cross-section of FPA members as per the committee terms of reference, along with the need for relevant and demonstrated expertise in the particular function or committee activity.

At the end of each year we review committee membership and call for nominations for the next year. Committee representatives are appointed by the Board Chair and/or CEO, and in some cases the committee chair.  Committee members are appointed for an initial term of one calendar year, with membership reviewed annually or as determined by the Board.  Additionally, positions may become available during the year as a result of resignations.

An FPA member may apply at any time during the year for consideration for future committee membership by sending an email to Deen Sanders via deen.sanders@fpa.asn.au, specifying which committee(s)they are interested in joining, and including an up-to-date CV.

Below is a list of all the Board Committees including the list of committee members and Terms of Reference where available. Click here to view a pdf of the committee structure.
