FPA Specialist Accreditation Programs

Professional education and accreditation for financial planners in specialist areas of advice.

“The combination of specialist education with the professional standing of FPA membership, offers those members who provide quality advice in specialist areas recognition and accreditation for the valuable role they play in meeting consumer needs.” FPA CEO Jo-Anne Bloch

Why complete the Specialist Accreditation Programs?

The FPA Specialist Accreditation Programs are designed for FPA practitioner members, both CFP® professionals and Associate Financial Planners (AFP), who have demonstrated, through experience, education, examination and ethics, their eligibility to use a FPA granted, post nominal designation providing evidence of their competence in specific areas of advice.

Specialist advice areas which have been currently identified for accreditation program development include life risk, estate planning and self managed superannuation funds.

  • Gain a designation reflecting your higher knowledge and skills in areas of financial planning specialty
  • Advance your qualifications and give yourself a professional edge in the competitive marketplace
  • Take your professional career to the next level

The specialisation, once achieved, can be promoted on business cards and letterheads.

Who should enrol?

The programs are open to FPA practitioner members who are Associate Financial Planners (AFP) or CFP® professional members.
