Continuing Professional Development

What is continuing professional development (CPD)?

All FPA members have an obligation to keep abreast of current regulatory and legislative changes that are occurring within the financial planning sector.

The major purpose of participating in continuing professional development is to develop a financial planner’s knowledge and skills so that they are able to:

  • Offer clients up-to-date and effective advice
