Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct

 

 

The FPA has confirmed the introduction of a revised code of ethics. The Code is enforceable from 1 July 2009.

The reliance of the public and the business community on sound financial planning and advice imposes on financial planning professionals an obligation to maintain high standards of technical competence, fair dealing and integrity.

The Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct reflect the commitment of members of the FPA to meet a high standard of professional conduct.
